Ptarmigan hunt in the Nuuk fiord
Join us for an unforgettable ptarmigan hunting experience in the Nuuk fiord! We carefully choose the best locations based on weather conditions, giving you the best chance of a successful hunt.
Our expert guide or captain will be happy to accompany you on your first ptarmigan hunt. We typically set small groups off to explore different areas, providing maximum flexibility for our guests.
As we sail deeper into the fiord, you’ll have the opportunity to take in stunning views of the Arctic landscape. Depending on the season, the sailing portion of the tour can last between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
To ensure you have everything you need for a successful hunt, we offer snowshoe rentals for an additional fee. Just add them to your ticket purchase and make sure to select the same date as your ptarmigan hunt.
Please note that you’ll need your own rifle and hunting license to participate. And while we don’t provide food and drinks, we do offer coffee and tea aboard the boat to keep you warm and energized.
